Baseball: Father/Son Camp

June 13-14, 2020

West Virginia University Baseball is pleased to announce our sixth annual father/son baseball camp. Come out and join the Mountaineer Coaches and Players for a unique baseball experience that allows a parent to join their youth baseball player in an on-the-field training environment. The camp provides an opportunity for fathers and sons to learn and practice side-by-side, through training in a variety of drills that can continued at home. This camp is designed to be a great bonding experience for fathers and sons, as they enjoy time together while also playing and learning the greatest game on earth. Bring your tents and sleeping bags! We will spend Saturday night under the stars on the field at Monongalia County Ballpark.

Dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday morning will be provided for all participants.

Equipment: Each camper will need to bring his own equipment (baseball pants, gloves, bat, helmet, cleats, etc.). Stakes for tents are NOT allowed to be used on the field, so please bring items to weigh/tie down your tent.

Registration Cost: $200/child

Baseball: Summer Youth Camp

June 30 - July 2, 2020

Time: Camp will run approximately from 9 AM to Noon each day

Tuition: $215 per camper, includes a camp t-shirt! Register prior to June 1st and receive our early bird rate of $200

The annual Summer Youth Camp features 3 days of fun filled games, instruction, and interaction with the players and coaches who are a part of Mountaineer Baseball! This camp is designed to help each child develop their overall fundamentals and skills in the game of baseball. Campers will enjoy various drills and friendly competition throughout the day with the enjoyment of the game in mind. Skills will be taught in all positions, including: infield, outfield, pitching and hitting. Each camper will need to bring his own equipment (baseball pants, gloves, bat, helmet, cleats, etc.).

Baseball: Mountaineer Classic Team Camp

August 28-30, 2020

This camp is designed for high level school/travel teams to compete and learn the game in front of multiple collegiate coaches throughout the weekend. Games, instruction, educational seminars, and facilities tours will be offered as the schedule permits during the 3 days of camp.

Cost: $1,200 per team

Refunds: No refunds will be offered for any cancellations made after August 1st

Our Summer underclassmen camp is being offered for the first time in 2020 and offers players the chance to be instructed by the entire West Virginia Baseball Coaching staff. Players will be taken through morning instructional sessions, including on field batting practice with defensive evaluation. In the afternoon, we will split into teams and conduct live scrimmages. This is not an overnight camp; players are responsible for their own hotel and transportation arrangements.

Equipment: Metal spikes are not permitted for this event. Bats may be either metal or wood.

Our summer prospect ID camp is new for the 2020 season designed for those who are entering 7th, 8th, and 9th grades in the Fall. This camp offers players the chance to be instructed by the West Virginia Baseball Coaching staff as well as additional schools in attendance. Gymnastics: Day Camp

June 23-25, 2020

This camp is open to any and all entrants ages 7-11 and is geared towards helping USAG levels 1-5 gymnasts learn the skills needed to compete and be successful. We will also push those gymnasts who master the skills at their current level to move beyond and work the skills necessary to advance to the higher USAG levels. Camp will consist of 2 training sessions daily, an open gym, and fun activities between training sessions.

Gymnastics: Overnight Camp

June 26-28, 2020

This camp is open to any and all entrants ages 11-18 and is geared towards helping USAG levels 6-10 learn the skills needed to compete and be successful. Our training gym has been specifically designed for gymnasts to safely train and learn higher level gymnastics skills on all four events. Our excellent spotters will work closely with you to ensure a safe and fun environment. Camp will consist of 2 training sessions daily, an open gym, and learning sessions. Overnight campers will also be attending a West Virginia Black Bears minor league baseball game.

The 2020 WVU Cross Country Camp will be held Sunday - Wednesday, June 21-24, 2020 and is open to any and all entrants. The camp will include daily workouts, related educational activities, speakers and team-building activities. The curriculum for this camp is designed to maximize your potential as a player. Each session will be run by our WVU staff and will be geared toward enhancing technical ability, as well as tactical awareness. Morning sessions will emphasize the technical aspects of the game, one-on-one attacking and defending, receiving under pressure and finishing. Afternoon sessions will focus on small and large group tactics of attacking and defending. Evening sessions will consist of matches.

Arrival and Departure:

Arrival- Check-in for this start of overnight camp will be from 11:00am-12:30pm in the Brooke Tower lobby of the ERC on Satruday July 11.

Commuter Check-in will be from 12-12:30pm at Brooke Tower Lobby

*Be prepared to play, first meal will be dinner *

Departure- Check-Out for overnight, teams and commuter campers is at Noon on July 14th following the closing ceremony in the Blue/Gold room of the ERC.

Women's Soccer: Summer ID Camp

Women’s Soccer ID Camp- Grade Level: 8th – 12th Cost ($175)

West Virginia University Women’s soccer program is excited to announce its annual Summer ID camp.Hosted and coached by the women’s soccer coaching staff, this camp is designed for club, middle school and high school student athlete who wants to pursue her soccer career after high school. It provides an opportunity for campers to train in the same environment that has shaped WVU into one of the elite programs in the Country.

The I.D Program is one of our most advanced, challenging and competitive training programs we offer. The camp also will cover a campus tour and areas such as NCAA academic requirements, Strength and Conditioning program for the advanced player, and how the Recruiting Process Works. Our philosophy for this camp is simple, we build a solid technical foundation and then challenge you to perform with limited time and space. At the end of this camp, you will be physically and mentally drained, but you will have a clear picture of your abilities, your purpose and your commitment.

This one-day event features campus and facilities tour, complimentary T-shirts, two training sessions, snacks and general information in learning more about the college recruiting process. Goalkeeper specifica training will be available for those that indicate at registration. Limited Space is available.

Wrestling: Mountaineer Team Camp

Mountaineer Team Camp is designed to get you as many live matches as possible.

There will be one session a day focusing on techniques in all areas of wrestling, followed by 2 sessions of live matches. You will be taught and coached by WVU coaches and wrestlers, as well as other great high school coaches. There will be a dual meet team champion as well as an individual TD tournament.

The goal is to provide you with match experience while being coached by top level wrestlers and coaches. Wrestlers will be provided a personal evaluation of their wrestling at the end of camp.

Daily motivational talks include nutrition and diet, strength and conditioning, and mental preparation.

A wrestler does not need to attend with a team. Individuals will be assigned to a team for duals.

Intensive Camp is designed for the serious wrestler that wants to learn how to get that extra edge in their training and wrestling. Train alongside current Mountaineer wrestlers! This camp does it all, conditioning, technique, drills, live wrestling, and competition matches.

Bruce Baumgartner is coming to WVU to run his world famous, biggest and best HWT camp in the country. Come learn and train with the best HWTs in the country.

This is your chance to get top level technique and training from the greatest USA wrestler of all time - BRUCE BAUMGARTNER. The camp is designed to give you high level big man techniques in all positions and live wrestling with heavyweights from all around the country.

Daily speeches from legends of our sport cover ALL aspects of wrestling preparation and competition.
