Baseball: Winter Elite Prospect Camp

Open to any and all entrants in 9th-12th Grade, and Junior College Players

Time: Camp will run from approximately 9 AM to 6 PM (subject to change)

Location: Caperton Indoor Practice Facility (3 Ira Errett Rodgers Drive Morgantown, WV 26505)

Tuition: $200 per camper, includes a camp t-shirt

Our winter Elite Prospect Camp will take place inside the newly renovated Caperton IPF, the home of WVU Football’s practice field. Our Winter prospect camp will allow players who wish to compete at the highest level of college baseball be instructed, evaluated, and showcase their abilities to the West Virginia University Baseball coaching staff as well as the additional schools in attendance. Players will be taken through a pro-style work out, complete with batting practice and defensive evaluation. The camp also consists of detailed instruction at each position and in all aspects of the game. Players will compete in an organized, indoor scrimmage to showcase their abilities in front of all coaches in attendance. The camp is not an overnight camp; players are responsible for their own hotel and transportation arrangements.

Equipment: Metal spikes are not permitted for this event. Bats may be either metal or wood

Refunds: Credit towards a future camp will be offered to those wishing to cancel their registration.

The annual Winter Youth Camp features a day of fun filled games, instruction, and interaction with the players and coaches who are a part of Mountaineer Baseball! This camp is designed to help each child develop their overall fundamentals and skills in the game of baseball. Campers will enjoy various drills and friendly competition throughout the day with the enjoyment of the game in mind. Skills will be taught in all positions, including: infield, outfield, pitching and hitting. Each camper will need to bring his own equipment (baseball pants, gloves, bat, helmet, cleats, etc.).

Refunds: Credit towards a future camp will be offered to those wishing to cancel their registration.

Baseball: Father/Son Camp

June 13-14, 2020

West Virginia University Baseball is pleased to announce our sixth annual father/son baseball camp. Come out and join the Mountaineer Coaches and Players for a unique baseball experience that allows a parent to join their youth baseball player in an on-the-field training environment. The camp provides an opportunity for fathers and sons to learn and practice side-by-side, through training in a variety of drills that can continued at home. This camp is designed to be a great bonding experience for fathers and sons, as they enjoy time together while also playing and learning the greatest game on earth. Bring your tents and sleeping bags! We will spend Saturday night under the stars on the field at Monongalia County Ballpark.

Dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday morning will be provided for all participants.

Equipment: Each camper will need to bring his own equipment (baseball pants, gloves, bat, helmet, cleats, etc.). Stakes for tents are NOT allowed to be used on the field, so please bring items to weigh/tie down your tent.

Registration Cost: $200/child

Open to any and all entrants ages 5-12

Time: Camp will run approximately from 9 AM to Noon each day

Location: Monongalia County Ballpark (2040 Gyorko Drive, Granville, WV 26501)

Tuition: $215 per camper, includes a camp t-shirt! Register prior to June 1st and receive our early bird rate of $200

Baseball: Mountaineer Classic Team Camp

August 28-30, 2020

This camp is designed for high level school/travel teams to compete and learn the game in front of multiple collegiate coaches throughout the weekend. Games, instruction, educational seminars, and facilities tours will be offered as the schedule permits during the 3 days of camp.

Cost: $1,200 per team

Refunds: No refunds will be offered for any cancellations made after August 1st

Baseball: Summer Underclassmen Prospect Camp

Open to any and all entrants in the classes of 2024, 2025, and 2026 (rising 9th, 8th, and 7th graders)

Time: Camp will run from approximately 9 AM to 7 PM (subject to change)

Location: Monongalia County Ballpark (2040 Gyorko Drive, Granville, WV 26501)

Tuition: $225 per camper, includes a camp t-shirt

Our Summer underclassmen camp is being offered for the first time in 2020 and offers players the chance to be instructed by the entire West Virginia Baseball Coaching staff. Players will be taken through morning instructional sessions, including on field batting practice with defensive evaluation. In the afternoon, we will split into teams and conduct live scrimmages. This is not an overnight camp; players are responsible for their own hotel and transportation arrangements.

Equipment: Metal spikes are not permitted for this event. Bats may be either metal or wood.

Time: Camp will run from approximately 9 AM to 7 PM (subject to change)

Location: Monongalia County Ballpark (2040 Gyorko Drive, Granville, WV 26501)

Tuition: $250 per camper, includes a camp t-shirt

Our full day Summer elite prospect camp allows players who wish to compete at the highest level of college baseball be instructed, evaluated, and showcase their abilities to the West Virginia University Baseball coaching staff as well additional colleges in attendance. Players will be taken through a pro-style work out, complete with on field batting practice and defensive evaluation. The camp also consists of detailed instruction at each position and in all aspects of the game. Players will also compete in an organized scrimmage with live pitching to showcase their abilities in front of all coaches in attendance. This is not an overnight camp; players are responsible for their own hotel and transportation arrangements.

Gymnastics: Day Camp

June 23-25, 2020

This camp is open to any and all entrants ages 7-11 and is geared towards helping USAG levels 1-5 gymnasts learn the skills needed to compete and be successful. We will also push those gymnasts who master the skills at their current level to move beyond and work the skills necessary to advance to the higher USAG levels. Camp will consist of 2 training sessions daily, an open gym, and fun activities between training sessions.

Gymnastics: Overnight Camp

June 26-28, 2020

This camp is open to any and all entrants ages 11-18 and is geared towards helping USAG levels 6-10 learn the skills needed to compete and be successful. Our training gym has been specifically designed for gymnasts to safely train and learn higher level gymnastics skills on all four events. Our excellent spotters will work closely with you to ensure a safe and fun environment. Camp will consist of 2 training sessions daily, an open gym, and learning sessions. Overnight campers will also be attending a West Virginia Black Bears minor league baseball game.

Men's Soccer: Winter Collegiate Prep Academy

February 1-2, 2020

Track & Cross Country: Cross Country Camp

June 21-24, 2020

The 2020 WVU Cross Country Camp will be held Sunday - Wednesday, June 21-24, 2020 and is open to any and all entrants. The camp will include daily workouts, related educational activities, speakers and team-building activities. Our goal is to educate campers in a positive, healthy and fun environment, lead by knowledgeable staff and counselors. Discounts available. Please see the brochure for more information.

Women's Soccer: Winter ID Camp

Come train like a Mountaineer at our one-day Winter ID Camp.

Our ID camp is designed for the student-athlete who wants to pursue her soccer career at the highest level. This ID program is one of our most advanced, challenging, and competitive training programs we offer. Our philosophy is simple. We build a solid technical foundation and then challenge you to perform with limited time and space. At the end of the camp you will be physically and mentally drained, but you will a clearer picture of your abilities, your purpose and your commitment. *Goalkeeping specific training is provided*

Included in your registration is a Campus Tour of the University and its athletic facilities. It will also include two complimentary admission to watch WVU vs Oklahoma Men’s basketball game at WVU Coliseum Feb 29 @ 4pm.

Women's Soccer: 4v4 Breast Cancer Tournament

Help WVU Women’s soccer Kick Cancer in their Annual 4 v4 Tournament

Are you looking for a great way to raise money for the fight against breast cancer? Have you ever wanted to be on the same field as your favorite WVU Women’s Soccer player? Well here is your chance!

On Sunday, March 8, 2020 WVU Women’s Soccer team is hosting a 4 v 4 Small-Sided Soccer Tournament at Caperton Indoor Practice Facility. Make a team of 4 with two of your soccer-playing friends and a WVU Women’s soccer member. The tournament is open to boys and girls in grades 3-8. There will be an OPEN division for college age and up! Teams can be male, female, or co-ed. *Due to NCAA regulations, no individuals in high school can participate.

The entry fee is $75.00 (only $25.00 per person!), with ALL proceeds going to the Betty Puskar Breast Cancer Center.

The registration deadline is March 2, 2020 and space is limited, so register today!

Wrestling: Mountaineer Team camp

Mountaineer Team Camp is designed to get you as many live matches as possible.

There will be one session a day focusing on techniques in all areas of wrestling, followed by 2 sessions of live matches. You will be taught and coached by WVU coaches and wrestlers, as well as other great high school coaches. There will be a dual meet team champion as well as an individual TD tournament.

The goal is to provide you with match experience while being coached by top level wrestlers and coaches. Wrestlers will be provided a personal evaluation of their wrestling at the end of camp.

Daily motivational talks include nutrition and diet, strength and conditioning, and mental preparation.

A wrestler does not need to attend with a team. Individuals will be assigned to a team for duals.

1:00-3:00pm Live Matches

Intensive Camp is designed for the serious wrestler that wants to learn how to get that extra edge in their training and wrestling. Train alongside current Mountaineer wrestlers! This camp does it all, conditioning, technique, drills, live wrestling, and competition matches.

Typical Day:

6:30-7:30am Workout #1 (conditioning, strength, drills)

9:30-11:30am Workout #2 (Technique, 100 pull ups)

This camp is for Mini Mountaineers!!!! Designed for ages 8 and under, this camp is a short 3 session camp designed for the wrestler in his/her first couple years of wrestling. Basic skills and drills will be made fun by the WVU Coaching Staff for your young wrestler. Games and fun included!!!!!
