The annual Summer Youth Camp features 3 days per session of fun filled games, instruction, and interaction with the players and coaches who are a part of Mountaineer Baseball! This camp is designed to help each child develop their overall fundamentals and skills in the game of baseball. Campers will enjoy various drills and friendly competition throughout the week with the enjoyment of the game in mind. Skills will be taught in all positions, including: infield, outfield, pitching and hitting. Each camper will need to bring his/her own equipment (baseball pants, gloves, bat, helmet, cleats, etc.).
Refunds: Credit towards a future camp will be offered to those wishing to cancel their registration.

Our full day Summer elite prospect camp allows players who wish to compete at the highest level of college baseball be instructed, evaluated, and showcase their abilities to the West Virginia University Baseball coaching staff as well additional colleges in attendance. Players will be taken through a pro-style work out, complete with on field batting practice and defensive evaluation. The camp also consists of detailed instruction at each position and in all aspects of the game. Players will also compete in an organized scrimmage with live pitching to showcase their abilities in front of all coaches in attendance. This is not an overnight camp; players are responsible for their own hotel and transportation arrangements.
Equipment: Metal spikes are permitted on the field only for this event, please bring sneakers/turfs as well. Bats may be either metal (BBCOR) or wood.

Our Summer early ID prospect camp and offers players the chance to be instructed by the entire West Virginia Baseball Coaching staff. Players will be taken through morning instructional sessions, including on field batting practice with defensive evaluation. In the afternoon, we will split into teams and conduct live scrimmages. Come out and join the Mountaineer Coaches and Players for a unique baseball experience that allows a parent to join their youth baseball player in an on-the-field training environment. The camp provides an opportunity for fathers and sons to learn and practice side-by-side, through training in a variety of drills that can continued at home. This camp is designed to be a great bonding experience for fathers and sons, as they enjoy time together while also playing and learning the greatest game on earth.

This camp focuses on the holistic aspects of what can help cross country runner be successful and enjoy the sport. Current team members, coaches, staff, and alumni bring the campers through daily runs, drills, strength and core work, team building activities, nutrition and sport psychology practices.
