Baseball: Father/Son Camp

June 8-9, 2019

West Virginia University Baseball is pleased to announce our fifth annual father/son baseball camp. Come out and join the Mountaineers Staff for a unique baseball experience that allows parents to join their youth baseball player in an on-the-field training environment. The camp provides an opportunity for fathers and sons to learn and practice side-by-side, training in a variety of drills that can continued at home. This camp is designed to be a great bonding experience for fathers and sons, as they enjoy time together while also playing and learning the greatest game on earth.

Bring your tents and sleeping bags! We will spend Saturday night under the stars right on the field at Monongalia County Ballpark. Also, dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday morning will be provided for all participants. Come join us at WVU and enjoy the thrill of the BIG12 atmosphere.

Registration Cost: $150

Baseball: Mountaineer Fall Classic - WVU Team Camp

September 20-22, 2019

This camp is designed for teams of high school ages. Teams will play 3 games over the course of the weekend. Each game will be evaluated by the West Virginia University coaching staff. This camp is designed to provide exposure to high level travel and high school teams as well as advanced instruction for individuals. Teams can bring as many or as few players as they would like for this.

Cost: $1,100 per team

Open to any and all entrants, ages 13-18.

Baseball: Prospect ID Camp

August 24,2019

Location: Monongalia County Ballpark 2040 Gyorko Drive Granville, WV 26534

Cost: $200 registration fee per camper. Sign-up before July 1, 2019 and receive our early bird registration rate of $175.

West Virginia University Baseball will host a Prospect ID camp on Saturday, August 24, 2019. This camp allows players who want to play at the highest level of college baseball be instructed, evaluated, and showcase their abilities to the West Virginia University Baseball coaching staff. Players will be taken through a pro-style work out, complete with on field batting practice and defensive evaluation. The camp also consists of detailed instruction at each position and in all aspects of the game. Players will compete in an organized scrimmage to showcase their abilities in front of all coaches in attendance. The camp is not an overnight camp, thus players are responsible for their own hotel and transportation arrangements.

Baseball: Youth Camp

June 24-26, 2019

Time: Camp will run from 9am-12pm each day

Location: Monongalia County Ballpark

Cost: $199 registration fee per camper

Our summer youth camp is designed to help each camper develop their overall fundamentals and skills in the game of baseball. The purpose of our youth camp is to give each player the best possible instruction from WVU Baseball coaches and players to make everyone a better baseball player. Campers will enjoy various drills and friendly competition throughout all three days with FUN in mind. Skills will be taught in all positions, including: infield, outfield, pitching and hitting. Each camper will need to bring his own equipment (baseball pants, gloves, bat, helmet, cleats, etc).

Open to any and all entrants, ages 5-12.

Camp Description:

Overnight campers will be housed in WVU Evansdale Residential Complex. Day campers will be picked up and dropped off at this location. All meals will be provided for campers during their stay. Campers will have use of various trails surrounding the Morgantown community and the WVU Rec Center, where they can enjoy swimming, court games, and other recreational activities. Campers will be grouped during workouts based on age, training level, and event focus. The camp will include daily workouts, related educational activities, speakers, and team-building activities. Our goal is to educate campers in a positive, healthy, and fun environment, lead by knowledgeable staff and counselors. Let's go Mountaineers!

Volleyball: Mountaineer Academy

This academy will focus on introducing and reinforcing the FUNdamental skills of volleyball.

This camp offers the highest level of training to experienced and advanced high school and club players.

Women's Soccer: Summer ID Camp

May 11 & July 20, 2019

Grade Level: 8th – 12th

West Virginia University Women’s soccer program is excited to announce its annual Spring & Summer ID Camp, May 11th & July 20, 2019.

Hosted and coached by the women’s soccer coaching staff, this camp is designed for club, middle school and high school student athlete who wants to pursue her soccer career after high school. The I.D Program is one of our most advanced, challenging and competitive training programs we offer. The camp also will cover areas such as NCAA academic requirements, Strength and Conditioning program for the advanced player, and how the Recruiting Process Works. Our philosophy for this camp is simple, we build a solid technical foundation and then challenge you to perform with limited time and space. At the end of this camp, you will be physically and mentally drained, but you will have a clear picture of your abilities, your purpose and your commitment.

This one day event features campus and facilities tour, complimentary T-shirts, two training sessions, snacks and general information in learning more about the college recruiting process. Goalkeeper training will be available for those that indicate at registration.

Women's Soccer: Day Camp

West Virginia University Women’s soccer program is excited to announce it’s annual Day Camp, June 3- 7, 2019.

Hosted and coached by the women’s soccer coaching staff and current players, this camp is designed for club, and 3-12 year old players. Day camp is a 5 day non-residential camp for young soccer players with focus on teaching basic soccer skills, such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and combination play. Camp will introduce soccer to these age groups using innovative and creative teaching strategies. Coaches will teach soccer in fun and unique ways to create a positive environment for first-time and beginning players.

Day Camp registration will begin at 8:30am-9am on Monday June 3rd, 2019 and each day camp session starts promptly at 9am.

Women's Soccer: Overnight/Team Camp

July 13-16, 2019

West Virginia University Women’s soccer program is excited to announce it’s annual Residential Camp, July 13-16, 2019.

Ages: 10-18 years

Hosted and coached by the women’s soccer coaching staff, current players and guest coaches, this camp is designed to meet the needs of all players, weather they are attending with a team or individually.

The curriculum for this camp is designed to maximize your potential as a player. Each session will be geared toward enhancing technical ability, as well as tactical awareness. Morning sessions will emphasize the technical aspects of the game, one on one attacking and defending, receiving under pressure and finishing. Afternoon sessions will focus on small and large group tactics of attacking and defending. Evening sessions will consist of matches.

This residential four day camp features complimentary t-shirts, nine training sessions, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Goalkeeper training will be available for those that indicate at registration.

Wrestling: Mountaineer Team Camp

July 14-18, 2019

July 14-18 ($435/camper, $325/commuter)

Mountaineer Team Camp is designed to get you as many live matches as possible. There will be one session a day focusing on techniques in all areas of wrestling, followed by 2 sessions of live matches. You will be taught and coached by WVU coaches and wrestlers, as well as other great high school coaches. There will be a dual meet team champion as well as an individual TD tournament. The goal is to provide you with match experience while being coached by top level wrestlers and coaches. Wrestlers will be provided a personal evaluation of their wrestling at the end of camp. Daily motivational talks include nutrition and diet, strength and conditioning, and mental preparation.

A wrestler does not need to attend with a team. Individuals will be assigned to a team for duals.

The camp is designed to give you high level big man techniques in all positions and live wrestling with heavyweights from all around the country. Daily speeches from legends of our sport cover ALL aspects of wrestling preparation and competition.
