Sports Camps/Clinics

WVU Athletics, in accordance with local officials is now accepting camp entries for the 2021 camp season. Please note that camp dates and availability are subject to change. If a camp is canceled, all pre-registered campers will be refunded.

All camps, clinics, and sessions listed below are open to any and all entrants.



Baseball: Fall Elite Prospect Camp

November 5, 2022

Open to any and all entrants in high school (grades 9-12, classes of 2023-2026), and all eligible JUCO players

Time: Camp will run from approximately 9 AM to 7 PM (subject to change)

Location: Monongalia County Ballpark (2040 Gyorko Drive, Granville, WV 26534)

Tuition: $300 per camper, includes a camp t-shirt

Communication: Email will be the primary form of communication used for this camp, updates will be sent out periodically leading up to camp.

Our full day Fall elite prospect camp allows players who wish to compete at the highest level of college baseball be instructed, evaluated, and showcase their abilities to the West Virginia University Baseball coaching staff as well additional colleges in attendance. Players will be taken through a pro-style work out, complete with on field batting practice and defensive evaluation. Coach Mazey will also give an informational seminar about the process of playing collegiate baseball. Players will also compete in an organized scrimmage to showcase their abilities in front of all coaches in attendance. This is not an overnight camp; players are responsible for their own hotel and transportation arrangements.

Equipment: Metal spikes are permitted on the field only for this event, please bring sneakers/turfs as well. Bats may be either metal (BBCOR) or wood.

Refunds: Credit towards a future camp will be offered to those wishing to cancel their registration.

Release/Physical Forms: Please print these forms and waiver out and bring them to be submitted on the morning of camp. A physical dated within the last 6 months will suffice for the physical requirement.

Baseball: Fall Early ID Prospect Camp

November 6, 2022

Open to any and all entrants in middle school (grades 6-8, classes of 2027-2029)

Time: Camp will start at 9 AM, ending time will vary based on the assigned teams at camp

Location: Monongalia County Ballpark (2040 Gyorko Drive, Granville, WV 26534)

Tuition: $300 per camper, includes a camp t-shirt

Communication: Email will be the primary form of communication used for this camp, updates will be sent out periodically leading up to camp

Our Fall early ID prospect camp and offers players the chance to be instructed by the entire West Virginia Baseball Coaching staff. Players will be taken through morning instructional sessions, including on field batting practice with defensive evaluation. Coach Mazey will also give an informational seminar about the process of playing collegiate baseball. In the afternoon, we will split into teams and conduct organized scrimmages. This is not an overnight camp; players are responsible for their own hotel and transportation arrangements.

Equipment: Metal spikes are not permitted for this event, plastic molded cleats or turfs are recommended. Bats may be either metal or wood.

Gymnastics: Fall Clinic

Camp is open to all gymnasts currently competing at competitive J.O. levels 5-10.

Clinic includes getting to work with current WVU gymnasts and WVU staff.

Women's Soccer: Fall Identification Camp

October 1, 2022

This one-day camp is designed for the student-athlete who wants to pursue their soccer career after high school. This Identification Camp is one of our most advanced, challenging, and competitive training programs we offer. This camp is only open to girls currently enrolled in grades 8-12 and is designed to give participants a clear understanding of what it’s like to train like a Mountaineer. Sessions will cover both technical and tactical training built to enhance their development and performance. The camp will allow participants the chance to be evaluated as future Mountaineers.

Goalkeeper specific training is part of our curriculum.

Price: $175

This Camp is Open to any and all girls currently enrolled in grades 8-12
