Baseball: Prospect Identification Camp - Summer

August 17, 2024

Open to any and all entrants in the classes of 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028, and all eligible JUCO players

Time: Camp will run from approximately 9 AM to 7 PM (subject to change)

Location: Monongalia County Ballpark (2040 Gyorko Drive, Granville, WV 26534)

Tuition: $300 per camper, includes a camp t-shirt

Sign up for 2 of the Identification series and receive 2 camps for $500

Sign up for all 3 of the identification series camps and receive all 3 camps for $750

Communication: Email will be the primary form of communication used for this camp, updates will be sent out periodically leading up to camp.

Our full day prospect identification camps allow players the opportunity to be instructed and evaluated by The West Virginia University baseball coaching staff and other college staffs in attendance. Players will be taken through a pro-style work out, complete with on field batting practice and defensive evaluation. The camp also consists of detailed instruction at each position and in all aspects of the game. Players will also compete in an organized scrimmage with live pitching to showcase their abilities in front of all coaches in attendance. Players will also tour facilities and receive a presentation from the WVU Baseball Head Coach. This is not an overnight camp; players are responsible for their own hotel and transportation arrangements.

Equipment: Equipment: Metal spikes are NOT permitted for this event. Monongalia County Ballpark is an all turf field, including the mounds. Please wear molded cleats or turf shoes. Bats may be either metal (BBCOR) or wood.

Refunds: Credit towards a future camp will be offered to those wishing to cancel their registration.

Baseball: Summer All Skills Camp

August 18, 2024

Open to any and all entrants who are entering 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades

Time: Camp will run from approximately 9 AM to 1 PM (subject to change)

Location: Monongalia County Ballpark (2040 Gyorko Drive, Granville, WV 26534)

Tuition: $200 per camper, includes a camp t-shirt

Communication: Email will be the primary form of communication used for this camp, updates will be sent out periodically leading up to camp

Our Summer All Skills camp and offers players the chance to be instructed by the entire West Virginia Baseball Coaching staff. Players will be taken through morning instructional sessions, including on field batting practice with defensive evaluation. In the afternoon, we will split into teams and conduct live scrimmages. This is not an overnight camp; players are responsible for their own hotel and transportation arrangements.

Baseball: Traveling Youth Camps

Dates Include:

6/27- Mineral Wells, WV (Mineral Wells LL) (4-7pm)

7/12- Wheeling, WV (Highlands Sport Complex)

7/23- Nitro, WV (Nitro City Park)

8/6- Jefferson, WV (Jefferson County)

Open to any and all entrants ages 6-12

Time: Camp will run approximately from 9am-Noon unless indicated with a different time.

Cost: $100 per camper

Communication: Primary form of communication will be through email. Updates will be sent periodically as camp date approaches.

Equipment: Cleats, Bat, Glove, Hat, Helmet, ETC.

Traveling Youth Camps will be in full swing for the summer of 2024! Campers will be led by a WVU coach and other assisting instructors. This camp is designed to teach and further each campers fundamentals and skills in the game of baseball. During camp, campers will enjoy various drills and friendly competition throughout the day while keeping the enjoyment of the game in mind! Skills taught throughout the day will include, Pitching, Hitting, Infield, Outfield and Base running

Baseball: Life as a Mountaineer Camp

Open to any and all entrants in the class of 2026

Time: Camp will run from approximately Noon to 3 PM (subject to change)

Location: Monongalia County Ballpark (2040 Gyorko Drive, Granville, WV 26534)

Tuition: $50 per camper (includes taxes). Registration fees are payable only via check. Please email joey.cuomo@mail.wvu.edu for instructions of how to pay via check.

Our life as a Mountaineer camp is designed for limited group instruction and educational sessions with members of the WVU Baseball staff. Attendance is limited based on staff availability.

Equipment: Metal spikes are NOT permitted, please bring sneakers/turfs/moldeds. Bats may be either metal (BBCOR) or wood.

Baseball: Mountaineer Classic Team Camp

August 31 - September 2, 2024

This camp is designed for high level school/travel teams to compete and learn the game in front of multiple collegiate coaches throughout the weekend. Games, instruction, and facilities tours will be offered as the schedule permits during the camp, weather permitting 3 games will be played per team.

Cost: $1,500 + tax per team (baseballs not included). Online registration accepts credit cards only, to pay by check please contact joey.cuomo@mail.wvu.edu. All checks are due no later than 8/20/24 to reserve your spot.

Field Locations: Games will be played at both Kendrick Family Ballpark (2040 Gyorko Dr, Granville, WV 26534) and Anker Fields Complex at Mylan Park (300 Mylan Park Ln, Morgantown, WV 26501), all teams are guaranteed at least 1 scheduled game at Kendrick Family Ballpark.

Refunds: No refunds or credits will be offered for any cancellations after 8/9/24.
