Men's Soccer: Collegiate Prep Academy

The WVU Soccer Academy is under the direct supervision of the Mountaineer men’s soccer coaching staff. Our goal is to teach players using the same principles we train our nationally recognized NCAA Division I program. We have created a challenging & competitive environment for serious players & teams, focused on promoting an attacking, possession oriented style of play while training every player to develop pride in their personal defending. We prioritize technical proficiency & challenge players to think through the tactical implications of their decisions, by implementing purposeful training exercises designed to help players LEARN and ADAPT. Players are challenged to think outside the box, connecting their individual play within the framework of the team concept.

Track & Cross Country: Cross Country & Track Camp

June 24-28, 2018

The 2018 WVU Cross Country and Track & Field Camp will be help June 24-28, and is open to any entrants in middle school or high school. Overnight campers will be housed in WVU Evansdale Residential Complex. Day campers will be picked up and dropped off at this location. All meals will be provided for campers during their stay. Campers will have use of both the indoor and outdoor tracks, various trails surrounding the Morgantown community and the WVU Rec Center, where they can enjoy rock climbing, swimming, court games, and other recreational activities. Campers will be grouped during workouts based on age, training level, and event focus. The camp will include event specific workouts, related educational activities, speakers, and team building activities. Our goal is to educate campers in a positive, healthy, and fun environment, lead by knowledgeable staff and counselors.

Track & Cross Country: Pole Vault Camp

July 22-26, 2018

The WVU Pole Vault Camp is open to any and all interested individuals and aims to improve not only an athlete’s individual abilities at the camp, but also to give them the knowledge and information to improve training at home after the camp ends. With an average ratio of one coach to every five vaulters, campers receive heavily individualized instruction that caters to his/her specific needs. Each day consists of four sessions: one morning vault/drill session and one evening session. All drilling sessions are designed to work on every area of vaulting. Some of these activities include: underwater vaulting, gymnastics center training, “ring-swing” pole vaulting, plus many more innovative drills designed to completely replicate the vault. With a group of coaches that thrive on energy, practice camaraderie, and years of experience, the WVU Pole Vault Camp will help you take your abilities to the next level.

This camp offers the highest level of training to experienced and advanced high school and club players.

This camp is designed for individuals and teams. Skill and position training will be emphasized in the morning, followed by tournament play in the afternoon.

Women's Soccer: Day Camp

West Virginia University Women’s soccer program is excited to announce it’s annual Day Camp, June 11th _ 15th, 2018.

Hosted and coached by the women’s soccer coaching staff and current players, this camp is designed for club, and 3-12 year old players. Day camp is a 5-day non-residential camp for young soccer players with focus on teaching basic soccer skills, such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and combination play. Camp will introduce soccer to these age groups using innovative and creative teaching strategies. Coaches will teach soccer in fun and unique ways to create a positive environment for all level players.

Day Camp check-in will begin at 8:30am-9am on Monday June 11th, 2018 and each day camp session start promptly at 9am.

Women's Soccer: Overnight Camp

July 14-17, 2018

West Virginia University Women’s soccer program is excited to announce it’s annual residential Camp, July 14th -17th, 2018.

Hosted and coached by the women’s soccer coaching staff, current players and guess coaches, this camp is designed for club, 5th – 12th grade student athlete as well as teams at the club or high school level. Goalkeeper training will be available for those that indicate at registration.

The curriculum for this camp is designed to maximize your potential as a player. Each session will be geared toward enhancing technical ability, as well as tactical awareness. Morning sessions will emphasize the technical aspects of the game, one on one attacking and defending, receiving under pressure and finishing. Afternoon sessions will focus on small and large group tactics of attacking and defending. Evening sessions will consist of matches.

This residential four-day camp features complimentary t-shirt, nine training sessions, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Women's Soccer: Summer ID Camp

West Virginia University Women’s soccer program is excited to announce it’s annual Summer ID Camp, July 21, 2018.

Hosted and coached by the women’s soccer coaching staff, this camp is designed for club, middle school and high school student athlete who wants to pursue her soccer career after high school. The I.D Program is one of our most advanced, challenging and competitive training programs we offer. The camp also will cover areas such as NCAA academic requirements, Strength and Conditioning program for the advanced player, and how the Recruiting Process Works. Our philosophy for this camp is simple; we build a solid technical foundation and then challenge you to perform with limited time and space. At the end of this camp, you will be physically and mentally drained, but you will have a clear picture of your abilities, your purpose and your commitment. Goalkeeper training will be available for those that indicate at registration.

This one-day event features complimentary T-shirt, two training sessions, a snack and general information in learning more about the college recruiting process.
